San Miguel de Allende, in the central part of the Mexico, is one of Mexico’s most popular destinations, beloved for its pristine cobblestoned streets, heaps of bougainvillea, nicely preserved colonial architecture and design-minded shops. While I love all those things, what I love most is how rich the literary, art, and musical culture is in this town brimming with ex-pats (mostly Americans and Canadians, but also loads of Europeans). The weather can’t be beat; cool nights and temperate days pretty much year round.

Thank you, Swan + Bean, for traipsing along with me and indulging my deep love for Mexico. Adore you both so much! ♥  ♥
